Watching over Ellingson

Ellingson Island (Splitrock Lighthouse State Park)

The north shore was showing its vast moods while hiking along the shores of Lake Superior. Ellingson Island has always been one of those photogenic scenes that I take great joy of capturing.

The rocky shoreline made for good composition to shoot at a lower position to capture the moody vibes. The light was fading in and out, and patience was needed to capture this scenery at the right moment.
