Silver Bay, Minnesota
A day that was full of exploration that led me to make a stop to Silver Bay after seeing the lake was a bit moody. Once I got to the shoreline, this bench stood out to me strongly. The clouds were rolling in, and I waited patiently to capture a long exposure once the lake was covering the bottom of the bench. I knew a longer exposure would create this “ethereal” vibe but calming at the same time.
The western shores of the big lake definitely has a unique vibe to it. a feeling of solitude and a place for family fun. It’s for anyone who ever has that urge of adventure away from the busy metropolis life.
