The calm before

A driftwood that seemed rather confused on how it ended up on this shoreline. 

The last memory it had was that it was standing high above the ground awaiting its leaves to blossom.

The next, it awoke along the sandy shores staring into the beyond. Wondering what transpired for it to arrive at this point.

Will this be its new home? 

Only time will tell.
