Old Woman Bay(Lake Superior Provincial Park)
After a day of exploring around the town of Wawa, I made a stop at Old Woman Bay. I've heard so much about this place and was highly recommended to stop here. It did not disappoint.
On this particular evening, there were some snow squalls passing along the area causing the road to close from my area to the US/Canadian border due to the snowstorm that was pummeling the area. I spent about 2 to 3 hours here and completely lost track of time taking in this beauty.
I can say for a fact that the energy and vibe I got from here I still remember today. Outside of this marvel of landscape that it is,I tend to pick up on energy at times.
The energy that I felt here was overwhelmingly comforting. I know it may sound a bit crazy but I felt like I was just hugged with love and comfort upon walking on the shoreline here. I truly did leave me in tears while feeling it.
The scenery itself was just so pure. The face of the Old Woman staring out into Lake Superior looking relaxed during the winter months and the snowstorm that was passing by. I had lost track of time and realized that I didn't hear a single vehicle pass by for sometime until I realized when I got back to the Motel that the road was closed.
After enjoying this level of solitude here, I went to review the images on my laptop and as I was going through this capture specifically, I remembered while I was feeling those emotional feels that I looked out and noticed what looks to be an angel in the sky peering through the snow squall clouds. I was totally blown away by that revelation and it all made perfect sense.
I couldn't believe it honestly but I remember the feeling and energy there felt comforting. I can truly say that I've had my own unique Old Woman Bay moment that truly will stay with me forever.
