Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park

I spent a weekend in Thunder Bay, Ontario with a focus on fully experiencing the hospitality of Canada and I made a stop back to Kakabeka Falls on this Saturday evening. The smell of campfire in the nearby campground set the stage for how this evening would turn out at the Niagara of the North.
The park was sparse and the sounds of the Kaministiquia River was displaying its power after some heavy rainfall a few days prior. The sun had set leaving its glow in the sky and I decided to walk on one of the overlook platforms and I was just amazed on how the waterfall color flowed in harmony with the sunset sky.
Kakabeka Falls holds a special place in my heart. This was the first place that I visited when I visited Canada in 2023. I truly cherish this moment and spent hours here. I look back to this image and I’m reliving this evening experience all over again.
