Split Rock Lighthouse State Park

I’ve been drawn to Ellingson Island every time I visit Split Rock Lighthouse. There’s a specific composition that I've been looking for for quite some time. While on my way back home from Thunder Bay, I was inspired by the Group of Seven when I made my stop here. This composition I had wanted for sometime now and I figured that it was time to give this a try.
It’s something that you normally don’t see captured here and out of all the years I’ve been to this location, I always find something new to capture along this shoreline. It’s definitely a reason to always make a stop here to find more unique compositions under various lighting conditions. This….felt just right to do on this day. I left here with a sense of accomplishment.
