I decided to take front image to this small island before setting off on the rest of the adventure. With the moody skies and high winds, I didn’t want to leave this location. I wanted to end this on a good note and I knew that a black and white would set the tone of this beautiful location.
There was something so special about seeing this island for the first time that blew me away. I've seen many images and paintings of Ontario along Lake Superior that were inspiring, but to see this in person is on a completely different level. I didn't even care about the high winds that morning because I felt as if I was supposed to view it under those conditions.
The Eastern shores of this big lake is something to be in awe of. I can't wait to find more unique treasures like this on the return trip.
