Trowbridge Falls
Thunder Bay, Ontario
We hiked to this local gem during a moody summer afternoon that I've never had a chance to experience. I wanted to take in the sights of this cascade flowing downstream.
The sounds of water drowning out all ambient noise all around us. Many youth were out with their families enjoying the river and the sense of cooling off from the heat.
Soon after, a group of teens decided to hike along the river to get a closer view of the falls. They made it with little effort to their goal in mind.
I didn’t expect the path to be so clear though I wasn’t aware of it at the time but it left me with a composition to capture this scenery.
To see the youth outside having fun and creating their own adventures left me in a pure state of nostalgia. I left here with a lasting memory as well as a flashback to my younger years.
