Stoney Point
Duluth, Minnesota
During the gale season, I wanted to visit a playground of mine at Stoney Point. This pocket of rocks were being pummeled by the sheer power of the lake. I got into position finding the right composition to capture this beauty of the force of Superior and to my surprise, with a longer exposure the waves created this star in between the rocks. I was so stunned by the hidden beauty that developed through my lens that I visually didn’t see at first.
As powerful as the waves could be during the gale season, there’s still beauty to be seen within it.
