The mosquitos were out and about on this summer evening feeding on all the tasty humans that were around. The pier was closed off but I still had a vantage point from the shoreline. Over the years, I’ve appreciated the South Shore of Lake Superior more because it truly has its own charm to it and this being one of the unique charms.
The summer sunset was creating the warm colors in the sky and the water levels were high enough to cover the over abundance of the wood piles in the distance.
This scene left me in a nostalgic feeling of growing up thinking about the family trips down to the Jersey Shore.
