On this evening along the North Shore of Minnesota, I took time to embrace the changing of the seasons. It was one of those last good days of summer, but autumn was beginning to linger in the air. Everyone who was here had already left and the transition from dusk into blue hour was emerging.
As iconic as this location is here, it felt more like a shrine of stillness. A pocket of isolation that felt so right at that moment. It felt like my soul was getting cleansed by Mother Nature herself.
This scene was a great way to clear my mind, but to enjoy the beauty of this landscape under the evening glow. Some days, i’m still here mentally.
